Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of technical and engineering projects that reflect both my skills and passion for innovation. Among them, a few stand out due to their complexity, impact, and the level of responsibility I held. These key projects not only challenged me professionally but also allowed me to grow as a technician and problem-solver. Below are three of the most significant projects I’ve completed:
🔧 Hydraulic Press Machine Repair
In this project, I diagnosed a persistent pressure loss issue in a large hydraulic press machine. After a thorough inspection, I identified and replaced damaged seals, restoring the machine to full working condition. The repair ensured smooth and safe operation, improving both reliability and performance for the client.

⚙️ PVD Coating Machine Installation & Operation
I acquired a non-functional PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating machine with the aim of adding surface finishing services to my business. The machine had multiple operational issues, but through careful troubleshooting and hands-on repair, I successfully resolved all system errors. I restored it to full working condition, making it capable of producing high-quality chrome-plated samples.

🏗️ Port City Project – Sri Lanka As a subcontractor under the Ceylon Electricity Board, I was involved in one of Sri Lanka’s largest infrastructure developments—the Port City Project. My responsibilities included GI conduit and trunking installation, as well as cable laying and fire detection system setup. This project helped sharpen my skills in large-scale electrical installations and taught me valuable lessons in managing work at high-profile construction sites. |
